Four inches of fresh snow is not a bad mid-March treat. This afternoon we're spinning lifts across all eight peaks until 4PM, when South Ridge takes over for the final Twilight Ski of the season from 4 to 6PM. Looking ahead to tomorrow, our grooming team will be out refreshing the mountain and setting us up with a clean canvas for morning turns. First chair spins at 8AM sharp, so don't miss it. The time has come to renew your New England Pass for the 2026/27 season. If you don't have one yet this season, you can still grab one at the lowest price of the year, and as an added bonus, you'll be able to ski the rest of this season too. Spanning three miles, Sunday River is spread across 870 accessible acres that spreads across eight interconnected peaks: White Cap, Locke Mountain, Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak, North Peak, South Ridge, Aurora Peak and Oz. This is a year-round ski resort with tree skiing and terrain parks for freestylers in the winter, and golfing and water sports in the summer.

Portland International Jetport in Portland, Maine, is a quick 90-minute drive from the ski resort. It’s about a three-hour drive from Boston’s Logan International Airport. You can rent a car and drive yourself, or pay for a shuttle from the airport.
