Finally, if you&rsquo;re driving in from Santa Fe, take the High Road. It&rsquo;s longer but winds through historic villages, art galleries, and dramatic landscapes. Stop in Chimayo or Truchas for a bite or a photo&mdash;it's a memorable way to begin your Taos adventure.

Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) is a closer airport option for travelers heading to Taos Ski Valley, located roughly a 2-hour drive away. Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is another alternative, approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the resort.
