Rainbow Ski Area is tucked into the St Arnaud Range near Nelson Lakes National Park, offering a scenic alpine escape in New Zealand’s South Island. With a base elevation of 1,438 meters and a summit reaching 1,758 meters, the resort spans 300 hectares (741 acres) and receives an average of 300 cm of snowfall annually. Snowmaking covers key trails, ensuring consistent conditions throughout the season. The terrain is framed by native beech forest and overlooks Lake Rotoiti, adding a dramatic backdrop to every run.The mountain features 15 trails accessed by 5 surface lifts, including a T-bar, platter, and learner tow.
