Snow Reporter Comments: Kia ora, *Weekend Update* — Due to the rain we’ve already received today and the forecast for more this evening, it’s unfortunately not possible for us to rebuild below the top of the Giant chair to allow access to The High Noon Express. We share your disappointment, as we were really looking forward to one last day on the slopes for the 2025 winter season. However, Mother Nature has made her call. As a result, lifts will not be operating for skiing or snowboarding this Labour Weekend. On a brighter note, with the sun forecast to shine on Saturday, we’ll be offering a free snowplay area at the base, half-price deals in the Alpine Café, and some weekend-only retail specials you won’t want to miss. Our on-hill opening hours for Saturday will be from 9am to 2pm, with sightseeing on Park Lane from 10am to 2pm (2025 season passes can be used). HQ will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. 2026 Season Passes are now available for purchase online and in-store, so come visit us and get set up for winter 2026. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
